Greetings Desterians! As some of you may have noticed, we've released another four custom enchants for the roamers of Caden to enjoy! With these new enchantments we've been working towards trying to create a Bard-esq PvP build. The wielder of a hoe will be able to utilize these enchantments to help bolster their allies in combat, while simultaneously weakening their enemies. Think of it like a support class! We've got more ideas towards this concept in the works! As always though, keep your own suggestions flowing in for we sift through them on a regular basis. We're always excited to see what you can all conjure up. Without further ado though, here are the new enchantments: Saturation Tier: Common Max Level: 3 Type: Hoe Enchant This hoe enchantment keeps all nearby faction members within a certain radius fed when held! Leash Tier: Elite Max Level: 2 Type: Fishing Rod Enchant This fishing rod enchantment has a chance to inflict slowness on a player when hooked! Darkness Tier: Heroic Max Level: 3 Type: Hoe Enchant This is the second hoe enchantment that will blind enemies within a certain radius when held! Curse Tier: Divine Max Level: 2 Type: Bow Enchant This bow enchantment has a change to inflict a random negative potion effect when a player is shot! These debuffs include Poison, Blindness, Nausea, Hunger, Slowness, Mining Fatigue, Wither, and Weakness. The bard concept was really cool and well received when it came up in staff meetings, glad to see it implemented!
Even though I'm sick of custom enchants it's nice to see more get implemented and the fishing rod get more love.
@Mythiixx and @oliver161 worked theirs asses off to do that custom enchant list and y'all implement those stupid custom enchants? to create a sort of bard? noone will use that type of combat concept every people will hold one of those hoes. Mythiixx's enchants were really useful, these don't
We are going to be going through all of them and hopefully using lots because they were good ideas, however we already had a few we were planning so we were just introducing them first.
I honestly HATE darkness, lost 3 god sets to it, it's horrible a supporting team mate flies over you and if you have glow your screen is basically black you cant see anything I cant do anything with darkness at all, I urge you remove it.
I haven't been on but from the calls I have been in, I can clearly see that the caden community hate this new enchant and if what i heard is true about it making your screen unplayable, then there's no point in fighting.
Make a suggestion thread with some sort of a counter-mechanic and we'll see if we can make it happen! I'd rather work with that sort of a solution than outright remove it, though. A nerf or buff to counter-play would be preferable.
I don't control the ideas that are created. As of last /ar, the issue with relations that are not enemy or neutral being able to blind you have been fixed, if that's what you're referring to.
No that's not at all what I mean, I'm meaning one person flies over you while fighting while the other kills you with melee. As you're permanently blinded, you basically can't do anything aswell as sprinting being disabled. It basically guarantees your death, it has caused many people their god sets today, i'd even suggest a roleback.
I would make it a special ability like bleeding for swords, but for hoes and it would have a 5 minute cool down lasting 25 seconds and you would have to right click to activate it.
